Yes you can. You DO NOT have to run the entire route, you can team up with other runners to run a relay using a vehicle or trade off with a bicyclist to cover the route. Some runners have started further down the route instead of running the entire route.
No. It is not, you will be running or biking along the side of the road until you reach the area where the sidewalk is available. Please be respectful of vehicles that will be sharing the road. Keep a watchful eye for these vehicles and trucks on the roadway.
Don’t count on it. You are responsible for your own hydration and fueling on the route. The temperature will be on the high side to prepare accordingly.
We will be selling shirts, hats and stickers to support the event. Even if you do not plan on attending you are more then welcome to purchase these items.
The route starts where the water is released from Lake Okeechobee and follows the path that the waterways take to Stuart Beach.
This is a free event. We do ask that you contribute to the cause by buying a shirt, sticker, hat, that sort of thing or make a donation to the cause.
If you want to compete either as an individual or as a relay team you can signup via UltraSignup.
